So a quick blurb before we go out today. Christy and I walked to the front desk to get our gym passes this morning and we were told they were closed. I was taken back, why would a gym be closed on Saturday.? Well because it’s Sunday. I don’t know how this happened but I swear we left on a Wednesday, and got here Thursday morning, but it turns out we got here Friday. Who knew!? Not me obviously. I’m actually pretty excited about this because we saved ourselves a day of budget money, and an extra purchase of a day of metro pass. Today we plan on picking up our passes by the Eiffel Tower at the Fat Tire Bike Tour shop, heading over to the Arc, and then back to Montremar to go to the Red Light district, and the Sex Museum. I don’t know how many photos we will be able to take in there, but I will do my due diligence for all our followers and try to get shots of some cool stuff.
I am sure some people have been freaking out because we haven’t posted in a few days while we have been here, but we found out they charge $10 a day for internet, and all the wi-fi that was supposedly everywhere is a farce. We are going to try to keep up as much as possible, but it might be a little delayed. A quick travel suggestion as well, if you ever get to Montremar, do not eat on the main street when you get off the metro, if you take the time to walk a block up towards the church all food is at least $1.50 euro cheaper. If you can also keep from eating directly downtown and instead stop off at the local bakery near where you are staying and the prices also go down significantly. One more thing, if you actually are taking a glance at our posted photos, you will notice the amount of sun present, the lack of people at all the places we go and the fact that we are not bundled up. Yep, we are getting great weather so far and the complete Paris experience at literally half the price by going in the off season.
